I’ve been using a British Berkefeld Gravity System filter for years, and I decided to buy this one (Doulton Countertop Water Filter System with Biotect Ultra) because it seemed more convenient to have a continuous supply of filtered water without having to refill the tank like with the Gravity System. The filter is high‑quality, but unfortunately it’s not compatible with my faucet (a modern faucet with a hidden aerator and no thread even after removing the aerator). They should indicate on the website which types of faucets the filter may not be compatible with, since I asked in two plumbing shops and in both they told me that if I want to use the filter, I’d have to replace the entire faucet. On Doulton’s website, this information is not clearly provided.
