Instruction Manual
- Flushing new filter cartridges:
Install the filter cartridges in your gravity water filter system. Fill the top container of your system with water and allow it to fully filter through. Discard the filtered water. Remove the cartridges from the system and clean the system (stainless steel parts) with a mild dish soap and a soft cloth. Rinse well and dry. Repeat another 2 times. - Cleaning filter cartridges:
While holding the blue threaded stem, place the filter cartridge under running water and scrub the surface using the abrasive side of a scourer sponge. Do not allow water to enter the blue stem of the filter cartridge. Rinse well. Cartridge replacement
- It is important to replace your filter cartridges to maintain the performance of your filter
- The manufacturer recommends to replace this cartridge after 6 months if you use one at a time, 12 months if you use two at a time, 18 months if you use three at a time and 24 months if you use four at a time

The water tasted great for the first 6 weeks. We went out of town for 5 days and disassembled the system, left all parts out to dry as instructed, and the water has tasted like mildew ever since. I contacted the company and they said since the filter still passes the blue dye test, that it’s still filtering ok. So I’m planning to purchase one more filter and see how long that one lasts. For the price point, it’s not affordable if I have to replace every 6 wks just to have fresh water :/
