• Flushing new filter cartridges:
  Install the filter cartridges in your gravity water filter system. Fill the top container of your system with water and allow it to fully filter through. Discard the filtered water. Remove the cartridges from the system and clean the system (stainless steel or plastic parts) with a mild dish soap and a soft cloth. Rinse well and dry. Repeat another 2 times.
• Cleaning filter cartridges:
  While holding the blue threaded stem, place the filter cartridge under running water and scrub the surface using the abrasive side of a scourer sponge. Do not allow water to enter the blue stem of the filter cartridge. Rinse well. Lay the filter cartridge on its side until ready to assemble.
